Lightning Soccer Club (LSC) is proud to announce an exciting new partnership beginning Fall 2009 with Grassroot Soccer (GRS), the international  non-profit organization dedicated to fighting HIV and AIDS in Africa through the power of soccer. Started by Lightning Soccer Club alumnus, Dartmouth graduate, physician, and non-profit visionary Tommy Clark, GRS has joined with Lightning to help reinforce its powerful international message here at home. GRS, through its extensive soccer network, will help Lightning secure products and services such as balls, jerseys and printing, all at significantly reduced costs. In exchange, Lightning is committed to spreading the message of GRS in our region and wherever we compete by proudly featuring the Grassroot Soccer logo on all Lightning SC jerseys. In addition Lightning SC will run an annual  "Lose the Shoes" tournament to help raise awareness and funds for Grassroot Soccer.
