Lightning SC is a non-profit organization that works hard to make soccer available to every player who has the desire to play at the highest level he/she can. To this end, we seek out sponsorship, grants and partnerships with organizations that can support LSC.
BE Fit Physical Therapy is a sponsor of Lightning Soccer Club. BE Fit provides the club financial support for the purchase of needed training equipment, as well as professional guidance to coaches and families on the topics of injury prevention and athlete health, including a regular column in the digital Lightning SC newsletter, archived on the Lightning website. Additionally, BE Fit provides free injury screening for all LSC athletes.
The Children's Fund of the Upper Valley awarded a grant to Lightning Soccer Club for 2015-16 to support the scholarship fund. These scholarships are designated for Upper Valley soccer players who otherwise could not afford to play. The Children Fund is sponsored by Norwich Partners, whose Upper Valley family of hotels include: Element by Westin, Courtyard by Marriott, Residence Inn by Marriott.
The New Hampshire Charitable Foundation is New Hampshire’s statewide community foundation, founded in 1962 by and for the people of New Hampshire. LSC received grant support from the Head Light Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation from 2013 to present.
Since fall 2009 Lightning Soccer Club has had an exciting partnership with Grassroot Soccer, the international non-profit organization dedicated to fighting HIV and AIDS in Africa through the power of soccer. Started by Lightning Soccer Club alumnus, Dartmouth graduate, physician, and non-profit visionary Tommy Clark, GRS has joined with Lightning to help reinforce its powerful international message here at home. Lightning is committed to spreading the message of GRS in our region and wherever we compete by proudly featuring the Grassroot Soccer logo on all Lightning SC jerseys.
