Registration fees will be refunded only if (i) the player moves away from the LSC area, (ii) the player is injured and unable to play competitive soccer for a substantial portion of the season, supported by a written statement by a medical professional, and (iii) if LSC is unable to field a team at that the player’s age level. The refund of fees will be prorated to the length of the remaining season. Any costs incurred by LSC on the player’s behalf are non-refundable. Non-refundable costs could include, but are not limited to, player kits, state registration fees and tournament fees.
LSC will not refund fees for any other reason. Issues that do not constitute sufficient ground for a refund include, but are not limited to dismissal due to a violation of the LSC Code of Conduct or player changing his/her mind about participation in LSC.
Note about Tryout Deposits
Should your player not receive placement on a travel team and subsequently choose to withdraw from Lightning Soccer after the tryouts, all but the administrative tryout fee will be refunded. See details on the current Tryout information page and/or instructions.
