Memorial Day Tournament

FUNdraiser for Scholarship

Congratulations to all teams on a great tournament weekend for all!

We had three teams advance to the semi-finals at the Needham Tournament. Great work U10 Boys Surge (playing in U11), U12 Girls Synergy and U15 Boys College Showcase (both playing in premier bracket of their age group). Although no one came back with a first place trophy, all had very competitive games; two games went all the way to a PK shootout.

At the Wellesley Tournament the U10 Girls Storm advanced to the top bracket for Sunday (no winners are crowned at this U10 tournament), which is a huge accomplishment! The other U10 teams in attendance scored a ton of goals and had a ton of fun.

At the Potomac Tournament in Washington, DC, the U16 Boys College Showcase team played two fantastic games against some of the toughest teams in the country and then went down in their third game.

At the Amherst Tournament in Amherst, NH, the U9 Boys Storm took the stage in the top bracket of the U10 division and came through with one resounding win and three narrow losses.

AND NOW...

The winners of the 2012 Score for Lightning Fundraiser are...

U10 Boys Surge with a team total $$$ raised of $440!!!

U11 Girls Synergy with the winning per-goal-pledge of $67!!!
