General tournament info: Each team will get a minimum of three games. The game schedule is released about 10 days ahead of the tournament, but the earliest your team might have a game is 8 am on Saturday morning; the latest is Sunday afternoon. Please make your reservations for only Friday and Saturday nights at this time***. Teams that advance to semis and finals (which take place on Monday), can extend their room reservations to Sunday night at the conclusion of their 3 games. A lot of rooms open up and hotels are accustomed to this arrangement. Depending on the time of your last game on Sunday you can either ask for a late check-out, or simply check out, go to your 3rd game, find out if you win and advance to Monday, and then check back in to your hotel at the Lightning discount rate.
Click on the link in the box below to see the three hotels where we have arranged discounts for Lightning families -- available only until 5/2 -- then the rooms will be released back to general reservations and no longer have the group discount!
***Do NOT cancel your reservation when the schedule first come out!!! There are often changes to the initial schedule because teams drop out or request division placement changes. Just assume that you are going for Friday and Saturday nights and that you have early morning games both days.
