Thank-you to all players for trying out for LSC Spring 2010 Travel Teams. After a record number of players who came to try out, team selections are complete and will posted on the Team Rosters page of this website on Thursday November 19, 2009. We are very excited about this strong interest in Lightning Soccer, and we look forward to hosting many highly competitive teams this Spring.

When you receive an email specifying your team placement, read through these instructions and click on the link in the Registration Process section to register. If you need to check your player’s placement first, access the Team Rosters page on this website and follow the directions below.

To Check Player’s Placement on a Spring Team:
If you are already a registered user of this website, then log-in under the Parent/Player Login menu. If you have not yet set up a user account, you need to do this to access the Team Roster pages. Log-in first by registering as a user in the User Registration (Set-up) and then activate your access from an automated email confirmation message, which should arrive within one minute (check your spam folder if it doesn't come to your In-Box) -- you must click on the link in the email confirmation you receive to activate your registration.

*Save this Username & Password for future use -- to see practice and game schedules and other team specific information.

After you have clicked the activation link, log-in as a User under the Parent/Player Login menu. Once logged in, Team Rosters will show up under the Teams menu, listed by gender and age group.

To Accept Player’s Placement and Register:
The next step is to accept your team placement by December 15, 2009. To do this, you will register your player on-line using the link below -- see Registration Process below, mail in the program payment and any required documentation: if the player did not play on a LSC team this past Fall (Fall 2009), you must also mail in a 1” x 1” photo (head shot) and a copy of a birth certificate. If they played on a U10-U14 LSC travel team this past fall (had a GSYSL Player Card), you do not need to send in a photo or birth certificate.
Note: All U8-U9 and U15-U18 players must send in a 1” x 1” photo and a birth certificate, as they did not have player cards this fall.

Team Commitment:
By accepting a position in any LSC program, you are committing to be there for your team, for practices as well as for games. In addition, you are agreeing to abide by the LSC Code of Conduct, Team Commitment and Payment Policy (see website under LSC Policies). If you anticipate significant difficulty with this, please contact us to discuss before you accept your position.

Declining Player’s Placement:
If the player decides not to accept their team placement, please notify us by email by December 15, 2009 so we can make the appropriate adjustments and possibly offer the position to another player.

Spring 2010 Season Outline:
LSC is supporting U8-U18 teams this spring, all with unique pre-season training, regular season training, game schedules, and program costs.

Development Teams (U8, U9, U10)                                          Price: $275*

• Travel teams with two practices/mid-week and game(s) on weekends
• Granite State League Early Development Program (U8, U9);
  Granite State League (U10)
• Fee includes: soccer kit, league fees, coaching, equipment, referee fees, field rental, insurance, accounting

Granite State League (GSYSL) Teams (U11 and up)             Price: $390*

• Travel teams with two practices/mid-week and league game(s) on weekends
• Enrollment in Granite State Soccer League
• Pre-season indoor training beginning in March
• Entry to spring tournament
• Fee includes: soccer kit, league fees, tournament fees, coaching, equipment, referee fees, indoor training, field rental, insurance, accounting

NEP League Teams (Select teams U11 and older)               Price: $420*

• Travel teams with 2-3 practices/mid-week and league game(s) on weekends
• Enrollment in NEP (New England Premiership) League
• Pre-season indoor training beginning in February
• Entry to spring tournament
• Entry to State Cup tournament (U12 and older)
• Fee includes: soccer kit, league fees, tournament fees, State Cup registration, coaching, referee fees, indoor training, field rental, insurance, accounting

Deadline:
Player On-Line Registration for all Travel Team, Player Pool Players, and Alternates is December 15, 2009.

REGISTRATION PROCESS:

• Click the On-Line >>>Team Acceptance & Player Registration Link.
• Complete the On-line Registration form and Submit. (Please complete this form in its entirety, as this information will be sent to the Granite State League, NHSA and NEP for team roster registration.)

Note: Please use upper and lower case letters when completing this form; example: Charles Mhlauri, not charles mhlauri

MAIL the following to LSC:

• 1” x 1” photo of player (head shot only -- must be this size to fit on the GSYSL Player Card – similar to a driver’s license photo)
• Copy of Birth Certificate -- for all new LSC players (U8-U9s, U15-U18, and anyone else who didn’t play on a LSC travel team this Fall.)

• Full Payment of Program Fee --
  NEP Teams = $420 / GSYSL Teams = $390 / Development Teams = $275 / Player Pool = $200 / Alternate = $225)
• If you have not yet paid the $20 Spring Tryout Processing Fee, please add this to your check.
• All VT residents must add an annual $15 per player fee for insurance purposes (applies to both Travel Team and Player Pool). Do not pay this fee if already paid in Fall ‘09.
• OPTIONAL -- $5 donation to Grassroots Soccer, our official charity partner and world leader in providing African youth with the knowledge, skills and support to live HIV free.
