2011 New England Junior Prep Soccer Camp

Located at Kimball Union Academy, a co-educational boarding school in Meriden, New Hampshire, with state-of-the-art turf and practice fields, our camp is for the committed junior soccer player who wants to develop his or her game. Our staff is comprised of experienced coaches and players who have played or coached at a very high level, from the collegiate to the professional level. We feature premier coaches who hold NSCAA, USSF and other international coaching licenses. Our campers are housed in KUA dorms, are served their meals in the dining hall, and have constant oversight by our staff coaches and the camp directors, who are involved in monitoring every activity of the camp. We combine a high-level of soccer-specific training with other games and summer activities to keep things fun as well as challenging.
The camp provides players with technique, tactics, physical conditioning and mental approach as demanded in top-level soccer. We aim to build a strong foundation through basic instruction and intermediate training, all tailor-made for junior soccer development. We focus on individual and group performances, including but not limited to, passing, ball control, dribbling, finishing (scoring), and heading. We use modern trends of soccer development and at the same time use the good old method of "street soccer" (small-sided, highly competitive games) so that we produce street-wise players. We have speed, strength and agility training fused into the program to make sure the athletes develop their physical aspect as required by the game. We aim to provide a strong base for the players so they can enjoy the game whilst improving their performances.

In 2008, Charles was named Ambassador for Grass Roots Soccer, an international non-profit organization that provides African youth with the knowledge, life skills, and support to live HIV-free through the game of soccer.
