Full time positions

Tryouts for Lightning Soccer Club’s Spring 2027 teams (U16–U19) will be held on November 14 and 15, 2026. Each age group will have two tryout sessions. All returning and new players must register and attend both tryout dates.

These tryouts are open to players interested in joining either our North (Upper Valley) or South (Sunapee Region) teams.

Anticipated Team Structure

For Spring 2027, we are currently anticipating the following team structure:

  • Boys: U18–U19 team (North)

  • Boys: U16–U19 team (South)

  • Boys: U16–U17 team (North)

  • Girls: U17–U19 team (North & South combined)

  • Girls: U16 team (North & South combined)

Please note that these are anticipated team structures for planning purposes only. Final team structures will depend on overall player numbers, and may change based on registration. Final team structures and player placement will be announced by January 1, 2027.

Important note: U15 tryouts for Spring 2027 were held in June. However, if you are a U15 player and still interested in trying out for our U15 Girls team or U15 Boys teams, you may still register and tryout with the U16-U19. Since the teams are already formed, we are only looking to reinforce the existing rosters where needed, so available spots are limited.
